"Lunes de Versus" was conceived as a series to create fan engagement in Malapata's social media channels during their tour for the "Yo Si Quería" album. Using a live streaming, users could vote to get one of the two songs competing each week, with a video of the song premiering later that night.
The video series started with quick GoPro-recorded videos, later evolving into full studio recordings with video skits or video clips. The series ended after 13 episodes with the rendition of "I'll Make A Man Out of You" from Disney's Mulan becoming the second most viewed video of the band.
